On June 2nd and 3rd 2007, Mahaleo’s blues ballades have shaken the Olympia. Cesar Paes – director in 2005 of the movie Mahaleo recounting the band’s story – was there to sensitively film the magic of these two hours and a half concerts. Thirties of their most beautiful song to celebrate their thirty-fifth anniversary, all subtitled in French and in English, as well as in Malagasy for you to try at home a karaoke version! The digital surround sound – mixed by Manu Guiot, a sound engineer who has worked with Bob Dylan, Prince, Mick Jagger, Eurythmics, Eric Clapton, Sting etc. – and the high-definition pictures will have you dive into the unique atmosphere of the concerts.
Remain in Mahaleo’s world thanks to the twenty live songs on the CD and to the forty-page booklet containing the lyrics and the French and English translations of all the songs, illustrated with pictures of the band.
